AGM donates to Flood Relief Effort

Aurora Gold Mines (AGM), a subsidiary of ZiJing Mining Group, today donated a cheque valued G$3 million to the Civil Defence Commission (CDC). Mr. Victor Wu, Country Manager of AGM, presented the cheque to CDC’s Director General, Lieutenant Colonel Kester Craig. Mr. Wu indicated that his company was happy to assist the flood affected residents across Guyana. Lieutenant Colonel Craig expressed gratitude for the contribution and added that it will go a far way to aid the flood response agenda.

The Private Sector has been continuously supporting relief efforts countrywide through the CDC.
