Cleaning Hampers delivered to Herstelling residents

On Saturday last, the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) in collaboration with the Neighborhood Democratic Council (NDC) delivered a quantity of cleaning hampers to flood impacted persons living in the Herstelling community.

A total of 235 cleaning hampers were distributed to residents in Third, Fourth and Fifth Streets by members of the NDC and the CDC. Persons there have been affected by flood waters due to incessant rainfall.

The Commission, along with other relevant stakeholders, will continue to monitor several communities countrywide during this rainy season and will render aid where necessary.
