Former Minister of Home Affairs Mr. Clement Rohee, today donated a large quantity of food items; such as coffee, peas and peanut butter, to the Civil Defence Commission (CDC). Mr. Rohee indicated that the majority of the supplies came from Guyanese diaspora in Canada.
Accepting the contribution was CDC’s Deputy Director General, Major Loring Benons, who expressed gratitude for the timely supplies.
The CDC continues to work with Civil Society and individuals to ensure that those impacted by the recent floods receive the aid they need.
