DLX gifts Field Hospital to CDC, provides training for set-up and maintenance of equipment

DLX, with support from the US Government, today presented several Field Hospitals/Shelters to the CDC to aid in Disaster Response and Management. Additionally, personnel from the company will provide five days of training to ensure that relevant stakeholders completely understand how to use, manage and maintain the resources. Day 1 of the training occurred at CDC’s Alternate Emergency Operations Center at Timehri.

GDF Guyana, staff of CDC and volunteers from Civil Defence Commission Volunteer Corps will participate in the week-long activity.
