Faizal Imports, in association with Bedessee and Verman Bedessee Foundation, donated a quantity of food items to the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) yesterday. Beans, oats and corned beef are some of the items that were a part of 11 pallets of food given to aid the flood recovery effort. Receiving the items was CDC’s Public Information Officer, Patrice Wishart, who thanked the organisations for their contribution.
Mr. Atique Ali and Mr. Sadiq Ali (in dark jerseys), representatives of Faizal Imports, indicated that some of the supplies were imported from Canada and their company felt the urge to help the flood affected residents so they ensured as much as possible was donated.
