GBTI hands over cheque from Flood Relief Account

The Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI) today handed over a cheque valued G$129,000 to the Civil Defence Commission (CDC). The funds are from an account set up by CDC to receive local monetary donations geared towards the flood relief effort.
GBTI has in the near past made a sizable contribution of their own towards the national flood response, and has pledged to accept and deliver more funds from the account once persons continue to donate. The account number is 011803443017.
In the photo GBTI’s Ms. Pamela Binda, Public Relations and Marketing Manager, and Ms. Rawattie Mohandeo, Business Development Manager, hand over the cheque to CDC’s Public Information Officer, Patrice Wishart.
The CDC continues to work with the Private Sector to aid flood impacted residents countrywide during this difficult period.
