Guyana Civil Aviation Authority donates to Flood Relief Effort

The Civil Defence Commission (CDC) today received a monetary donation of G$120,100 from the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). Members of staff of the Authority pooled their personal funds to arrive at the amount given.

Mr. Courtney Frank, Safety Coordinator at GCAA, handed over the cash while stating that it was the least they can do to aid impacted residents countrywide. Receiving the donation was CDC’s Public Information Officer, Patrice Wishart, who thanked the entity for their support.

Civil Society has continuously assisted the CDC during this difficult period.
