Guyana Red Cross and USAID donate to Flood Relief Effort

The Guyana Red Cross Society in collaboration with USAID today donated surgical masks, thermometers, and other sanitary items to the Civil Defence Commission (CDC).

Ms. Melissa Lewis, Field Officer at the Guyana Red Cross, handed over the supplies to CDC’s Public Information Officer, Patrice Wishart. Mr. Wishart thanked Red Cross Guyana for their continued support throughout the National Flood Response.

Non-Governmental Organisations have consistently aided impacted residents countrywide throughout this difficult time and have pledged to maintain the support.
