Guyanese Engineers abroad donate to Flood Relief Effort

A group of Guyanese Engineers residing in Trinidad and Tobago today donated a cheque valued at G$100,000 to the Civil Defence Commission (CDC). Ms. Melicia Stepney, Ms. Shevlin Smith, Ms. Samantha Roberts and Mr. Jason Brathwaite pooled their financial resources to aid the flood impacted residents of their homeland.
The cheque was handed over by Mr. Whittington Brathwaite, father of Mr. Jason Brathwaite, and was received by CDC’s Logistics Supervisor, Captain Michael Andrews.
The CDC continues to work with members of the Diaspora to aid flood affected persons countrywide.
