The Civil Defence Commission (CDC) on Friday received a quantity of drinking water, face masks, concrete boards and other supplies from a combination of entities at their headquarters in Thomas Lands. The LOMAM Group, Hits and Jams Entertainment and Green Path Foundation donated these items aimed at aiding the National Flood Response.
Receiving the items was Deputy Director General of the CDC, Major Loring Benons, who expressed gratitude for the supplies and indicated that they will be dispatched swiftly to impacted communities.
The CDC continues to work with the Private Sector and Civil Society during this difficult time to ensure flood affected residents get the help they need.
