Region 10 receives additional flood relief supplies

Region 10, which has been hard hit by the current floods, received additional flood relief supplies today. 100 food and 100 cleaning hampers, 3 450 gallon water tanks and 100 cases of drinking water were sent to the Regional Democratic Council (RDC) of that Region. The villages of Coomaka, Maria Elizabeth and 3 Friends Mines are scheduled to receive the supplies.

The Civil Defence Commission (CDC) continues to work with local authorities to ensure that aid is available for impacted households across Guyana during this difficult period.
