Region 6, through the Regional Democratic Council (RDC), has received 2500 food and 2500 cleaning hampers from the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) today. The supplies are intended to provide relief to the villages of Adventure, Limlair, Friendship, Nurney, Kildonan and Bushlot.
The CDC continues to work with regional bodies to render further assistance to impacted residents across Guyana during the current floods.
