Region 6 receives additional Relief Supplies

Number 1 Village, Fyrish and Gibraltar, villages in Region 6, have received additional cleaning hampers today from the Civil Defence Commission (CDC). This is part of an ongoing mission in collaboration with the Regional Democratic Council (RDC), to provide support to the Region, which has been hard-hit by the current floods. Lancaster, Liverpool, Manchester and Hogsty villages, all in Region 6, have received relief hampers already.

The CDC has been consistently working with local authorities to ensure that aid is available for impacted residents across Guyana.
