Region 8 receives additional flood relief supplies

Regional Executives in Region 8 received 355 cleaning hampers and 355 food hampers from the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) on Friday and Saturday last. The Regional Executives will distribute the supplies to Sandhill, Waipa, Kaibarupai and other communities in the Region.

The CDC continues to work with local authorities to ensure that aid is available for impacted households across Guyana during this difficult period.
