Kwakwani, Region 10 is still inundated by flood waters as the rains and river over-topping continue. An aerial assessment of the village and surrounding areas was conducted by the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) today.
Residents that are severely affected have been relocated to shelters established and managed by the CDC. Additionally, food and other supplies are being continuously dispatched to the area. As recent as June 11, 2021, 1000 food hampers were delivered to the Region 10 village.
