Second Region 7 DDSA team meets with Regional Executives

Representatives of the Regional Executive Office for Upper Mazaruni, Region 7 today met with the Detailed Damage Sector Analysis (DDSA) team ahead of their flood impact assessment. Following an agreement between the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) and the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA), this team comprises of various stakehokders who will examine homes and mining communities in Upper Region 7.

The mission is expected to last at least five days, upon which a detailed report will be submitted.
