SUBJECT: Flooding in several regions of Guyana.
1. EVENT: As a result rainfall over the last 84 hours, several areas in all ten (10) Regions of Guyana were reported to be flooded. The water levels at the four (4) locations in the East Demerara Water Conservancy (EDWC) have been recorded as follows:

2. PROGNOSIS: The Hydrometrological Services predicted mostly cloudy conditions with occasional showers over regions 1 to 10. The occasional outburst of thunder may occur over some coastal and inland locations. Rainfall is expected to be between 0.0mm and 20.0mm today, May 15, 2012.
